Well, still waiting to hear from the Blog Master I chose to get started through. I did a quick search for mccrabbisretiring and found it registered, but I’m not sure any of these posts are out there on the internet yet. I want to make sure I’m “out there” before putting out any real posts with content, with the intent of starting a conversation.
I will put one question out there, and follow up on it later. Looking for a decent resource for learning about trusts. I’ve been listening to podcasts and am now searching for a good ebook or two on the subject.
And I’d still like to figure out how to go from “uncategorized” to “Lifestyle”.
This is a great idea, Mike, and no reason to wait until things are fully baked. I’m probably a few years behind you, which means you’ll have it all figured out by the time I pull the trigger. I don’t know that we ever figure it out, but it is wise to ask the questions. My wife retired from teaching this past year and between the craziness of Covid and not really planning things out, it’s taken her a while to get her sea legs. So, thanks for getting this started and letting me know.
Thanks Scooter, you are officially the first person to have read and responded on this blog. You read post #3 from about two weeks ago when I was still trying to set up the blog. There are now two more posts (finally starting to get into retirement subjects) and it’s now about 90% baked. Time to do a little advertising- I’ll get that last 10% worked out some evening soon. I have a couple friends who retired about 5 years ago and am hoping to get them to weigh in soon. More to follow.
